I now have an HP printer-scanner-copier all-in-one. (It slices, it dices, it makes julienne fries!)
This means I get to make an art post when I haven't done one in literally years. =O
The first is a doodle... and no, I'm not going to translate the Kalash at the top. It's on one of those long stickynotes, hence the color. Some few of you know Atumi - he's the non-striped.

The second is a rough sort of concept-art sketch of a Pantheran beastwalker. The wingsnake around his shoulders is still very young - probably half-grown. The coloring sucks because the pencils scraped away the paper fibers and it smeared, but before it did, the lineart on his hands was cool.

Annnd... yes... the last one is a black-and-white pen-sketch of myself and S. Turns out that, as a Korat, he winds up a tan-striped white, so he kinda dwarfs my own Korat-self, who is tan-striped black. And, despite the flaws in this sketch... I love it. =3

That's all for now. I don't even necessarily want constructive criticism on these... I mean, one's a doodle, one's concept art, and one's a spur-of-the-moment sketch. I'm still trying to learn new things and get a handle on things like perspective and angling and foreshortening. That's why I have my little sketchbook-- to learn. So, when I feel I've gotten myself to a level where I need specific pointers more than sheer practice, I will definitely beg for help from the artists on my flist. But for now... I'm just learning, and I'm okay with that. ^_^ (That said, encouragement would be welcome. =D)

On the other note, I love your drawings. I miss you, also, and ♥.
I love you and miss you too, little sister. Email me sometime! Also, I think you still have my work screenname... *snugs*
That said, I have to say I think the picture of you an' S is the best friggin' piece I've seen you do in... ever? Seriously, all it needs is colored and I would be in love. =3
More more!
(and don't be too surprised if a drawing of Cisekar an' S shows up sometime soon in my LJ... I don't know if I'll be able to restrain myself from fanarting. ~_^)
There will definitely be more art... probably sporadically, as I do maybe concept art for Ykinde and some other artwork that's been sleeping in my head for a year or two.
If you did fanart of Cisekar and Ayelis, I would die happy. =D!!
(I am considering CGing that sketch... I don't want to kill it with colored pencils like I did the Panthera. It would be pretty! Ayelis is all gorgeous and pale. =3)
<3!
That's definitely the first time I ever got fur texture right. *proud*
