Rating and Warnings-- PG for mild violence and gore.
Species and Characters-- Species are Niyias--huge, elephant-sized felines--and Qynes--think cat furries. Characters are Rinae (female Qyne) and her Bonded, a black-furred, gold-maned male Niyia. They used to be role-playing characters of mine, and now I've started a novel to chronicle their adventures. *grins* Oh, and mention is made of a "ching" -- it's a small, monkey-like domesticated beast.
Summary and Notes-- Written as part of daily15 for prompt 74 and prompt 75--took me 15.5 minutes for these 793 words. Basically a hunting scene with my two characters--it feels verymuch like a flashback for me, but it shouldn't for any other readers (who never RP'd at Antra, anyways :D). I loved writing this. (Rinae's attitude on this hunt amuses me muchly. XD.)

( I wanted to laugh into the wind as the massive feline under me leapt forward--adrenaline rushed through my veins, my racing heart loud in my own sensitive ears... )

I love writing hunt-scenes. XD!
