Title-- Blood and Sand
Rating and Warnings-- PG-13 for graphic violence.
Species and Characters-- Species is Korat--characters are Numi, female black, and Rezi.
Summary and Notes-- This is the extra request granted to xxxdevousxxx for reviewing Black & White & Red All Over--she wanted a battle scene with Numi, plus a little mystery thrown in for flavor. This is as good as I could do. =D Hope you like it, Devous!
( The gentle, gradual crash of foam-lined waves against the night-shrouded shore had always been her lullaby. )

'Fore I proceed with what is newly-established routine, I'd like to thank my dearest
gileonnen for advertising this journal to her manymany friends. Even if none of them read anything I write, it was still so very sweet and kind of her to link me. =^_^= (What? Me? Mushy? Naw... ~_^)
Title-- Coman (I do have a habit of titling shidbits after their featured characters, don't I. *amused*)
Rating and Warnings-- G; no warnings. Absolutely mellow piece.
Species and Characters-- Species of choice is again Korat; character is Coman, a young male red-striped tan. *pets him* XD.
Summary and Notes-- This is again inspired by a generator, specifically the Hopean Korat one. See, I wanted to explore Hope. (Might wanna read this to explain the whole Lavana-Hope deal. =-D) I've decided that, given the time that world's been around (about four or five millennia) and the inherent nature of Korats, they wouldn't have developed much technology at all (like I had previously envisioned). Instead, their culture and social structure are complex and highly developed; they're rich in myth and lore and skills and tradition. All Lavana and unicolored Korats are to them is a legend, a might-be-true. Also, I realized that Hopean Korats wouldn't call themselves Hopeans, nor their planet Hope -- those are Lavanian-given names. So I've decided, in an effort to make pretty things that are still similar enough to Hope/ans to inspire a link in my readers' minds, to name the planet Okhe and the denizens Okheans. (Note the long 'o' sound, which is the same, the silent 'e' on the planet name, and the -ean(s) to denote denizens.) =^_^= Aaanyways, onto the shidbit. ^_^;;
( The lavender-grey sea sang, its great cymballic symphony glossed with the beautifully light rush of individual drops of water drowning in white-topped waves... )
Have a nice day, folks. If you're feeling generous, please read the piece below this one and review it a little, please? I'd love feedback on what is going to eventually be the prologue to a novel. ^_^
